Divorce is a sad place to be. My understanding of this, is not so much what your mate has done to you, but, that your heart has turned to stone, and you have decided to divorce. Choosing to be against, and not for, your mate, it was not always so with you!

Do you remember when you loved your mate so much that you would have literally done any thing for them? Well do you, well I remember feeling like that, and after 35 years I still feel that way. Just to let you in on a little secrete, I could have trained my mind to feel other ways, and possibly that is the direction you have taken, another secrete I have in past times allowed my mind to think otherwise, I repented! One more little secrete, in the beginning of your relationship, that is what you did. I know you are now on the edge of your seat asking what do you mean by that? In the beginning of every relationship, we train ourselves to think that the one we have fallen in love with has literally no faults. (Trained our minds, Get It)
Do you remember in the scripture reading about Joseph being wed to Mary? Even, after it looked like, by all human accounts, she had betrayed him, and committed adultery. Do you know what that was? That was devotion and what I call Real LOVE!!!
Matthew 19:7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
Matthew 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
Matthew 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Guess what if this is a description of your situation, (hold on to your thinking cap) you can retrain your mind, to think exactly like you did in the beginning of your relationship. It is the way God intended us to live our lives. You asked me what do I mean, how does God want us to live our lives. My answer is In Love. Retrain your mind to think of your mate as one who has no faults, isn't that what God said to do?
